15 -요한복음 1장 4-5절- 그 안에 생명이 있었으니 이 생명은 사람들의 빛이라 빛이 어두움15 에 비취되 어두움이 깨닫지 못하더라 15

15 1장 4절의 "그"는 하나님이며, 그를 통해 만물이 지어지게 된 말씀을 의미합니다. 그 안에 15 생명이 있습니다. 왜 그는 생명이 되기 위해 오시기 전에 만물을 창조하셨습니까? 그것은 15 그분을 생명으로 받아들이기 위한 용기, 즉 담는 그릇이 필요하기 때문입니다. 그가 어떤 것15 도 창조하시지 않고서 생명이 되기 위해 왔다고 생각해 보십시오. 누구에게 그분은 생명이 15 되시겠습니까? 비록 그분이 생명일지라도 그분을 생명으로 담는 그릇이 없습니다. 그래서 15 그분은 생명이 되기 위해 오시기 전에 하늘과 땅과 그분을 받아들일 수 있는 영을 가진 사15 람을 창조했습니다. 스가랴 12장 1절에서는 "여호와 곧 하늘을 펴시며 땅의 터를 세우시며 15 사람 안에 영을 지으신 자"라고 말합니다. 하늘은 땅을 위하고, 땅은 사람을 위하고, 사람은 15 하나님을 담을 수 있는 영이 있게 지어졌습니다. 이제 말씀은 그가 창조한 사람이 받을 수 15 있는 생명으로 올 수 있습니다. 창조는 생명을 위한 그릇을 낳았습니다.15

15 우리는 생명이 말씀 안에 있음을 보았습니다. 생명은 오직 하나님의 표현 안에서만 발견됩15 니다. 하나님을 표현하고 설명하는 말씀이 우리의 생명이신 하나님을 담고 있습니다. 우리가 15 말씀을 받을 때에 그 안에 있는 생명을 받게 됩니다. 말씀과 생명은 바로 하나님 자신입니15 다. 말씀은 하나님의 표현이요, 생명은 하나님의 내용입니다. 우리는 말씀을 들을 때 하나님15 이 표현되고 설명됨을 느낍니다. 우리가 말씀을 받을 때 하나님의 내용인 생명을 받게 되고, 15 그리하여 하나님으로부터 출생하여 하나님의 자녀가 됩니다. 말씀 안에 있는 생명이 바로 15 하나님의 내용입니다.15

15 사람은 하나님을 생명으로 담기 위한 그릇으로 지어졌습니다. 그러나 창조된 그는 단순히 15 빈 그릇일 뿐입니다. 그는 참된 생명을 갖고 있지 않습니다. 사람의 창조된 생명은 참된 것15 이 아닙니다. 참된 생명은 그리스도 안에 있는 하나님의 생명입니다. 여러분이 그리스도를 15 영접하기 전에 갖고 있던 생명은 어떤 종류의 것입니까? 기껏해야 그것은 일시적인 생명일 15 뿐입니다. 그것은 영원한, 영구히 지속되는 생명이 아닙니다. 잠시 있는 생명일 뿐 아니라 15 변함없는 생명도 아닙니다. 우리가 그리스도를 영접하기 전에는 우리의 잠시 있는 생명이 15 얼마나 지속될지 불확실했습니다. 어떤 의미에서 우리는 구원받기 전에 생명이 없었습니다. 15 그리스도 안에 있는 생명은 영원하고 변치 않고 영구적입니다. 모든 사람은 그리스도 안에 15 있는 하나님의 창조되지 않은 생명이 필요합니다. 이 생명은 사람을 위한 것이고 사람은 이 15 생명을 담는 그릇입니다.15

15 John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (5) And the light shines in 15 the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. 15

15 The “Him” in 1:4 denotes the Word who was God and through whom all things came 15 into being. In Him is life. Why did He create all things before He came to be life? 15 Because in order for Him to be received as life there was the need of a receptacle, a 15 receiver. Suppose He had not created anything, yet came to be life. To whom would He 15 be life? Although He might be life, there would have been no receiver for Him as life. 15 Thus, before He came to be life He created the heavens, the earth, and man with a 15 spirit to receive Him. Zechariah 12:1 says that the Lord “stretcheth forth the heavens 15 and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.” 15 Thus, the heavens are for the earth, the earth is for man, and man was made with a 15 spirit to receive God. Now the Word can come as life to be received by the man whom 15 He created. Creation produced the receptacle for life. 15

15 We have seen that life is in the Word. Life can only be found in the expression of God. 15 The Word, which is the expression and explanation of God, contains God as our life. 15 When we receive the Word, we receive the life within it. Both the Word and the life 15 are God Himself. The Word is the expression of God, and the life is the very content of 15 God. When we hear the Word, we realize that God is expressed and explained; when 15 we receive the Word, we receive God's very content as life and are thereby born of 15 God and become the children of God. The life in the Word is the very content of God. 15

15 Man was made as a vessel to contain God as life. However, by creation he was merely 15 an empty vessel; he did not have genuine life. The created life of man is not genuine; 15 genuine life is the divine life which is in Christ. What kind of life did you have before 15 you received Christ? It was, at best, a temporary life, it was not a permanent life, an 15 everlasting life. Although it was an instant life, it was not a constant one. Before we 15 received Christ we were uncertain just how long our instant life would endure. Thus, in 15 a sense, before we were saved we did not have life. The life in Christ is eternal, 15 constant, and permanent. All men need such a life, the divine and uncreated life that is 15 in Christ. This life is for man, and man is the receiver of this life. 15
