15 종은 일 만 달런트를 빚졌고, 그 돈은 큰 금액이었습니다. 그는 갚을 능력이 없었습니다. 우15 리는 결코 우리가 하나님께 빚진 것을 다 갚지 못할 것입니다. 사람이 우리에게 빚진 것보15 다 훨씬 더 많습니다. 하나님의 자녀가 하나님께 대한 자신의 빚의 합당한 평가에 다다르면, 15 그는 그의 형제가 자신에게 빚진 것에 대해 관대하게 용서할 것입니다. 우리가 하나님께로15 부터 받은 은혜의 무한함을 잊어버릴 때, 우리는 다른 이들에 대해 자비롭지 못합니다. 우리15 는 다른 이들이 우리에게 빚진 것이 얼마나 작은지를 보기 이전에 우리가 하나님께 얼마나 15 많이 빚졌는지를 보아야 합니다.15

15 사람이 분명하게 은혜가 무엇이고 복음이 무엇인지 이해하는 것은 어렵습니다. 사람들은 종15 종 오늘 갚을 수 없을지 모르지만, 언젠가 갚을 수 있을 것이라고 생각합니다. 오늘은 할 수 15 없을지 모르지만, 언젠가 할 수 있을 것입니다. 그러나 이 구절에서 우리는 심지어 가진 것15 을 모두 팔았지만 갚기에는 충분치 않았던 종을 봅니다. 그는 "내게 참으소서 다 갚으리이15 다"라고 말합니다. 그의 의도는 좋았습니다. 그는 자신의 빚을 피하려고 하지 않았습니다. 15 그는 주님께 단지 더 시간을 달라고 했습니다. 그는 다 갚으려고 했던 것입니다. 이런 생각15 은 은혜를 모르는 사람으로부터 오는 것입니다. 15

15 Understanding God's Grace in Forgiveness15

15 Matthew 18:23 For this reason the kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who 15 desired to settle accounts with his slaves. (24) And when he began to settle them, one 15 who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him. (25) But since he did not have 15 the means to repay, the master commanded him to be sold, as well as his wife and 15 children and all that he had, and repayment to be made. (26) Then the slave fell down 15 and worshipped him, saying, Be patient with me and I will repay you all. (27) And the 15 master of that slave was moved with compassion and released him and forgave him the 15 loan.15

15 The slave owed ten thousand talents, which was a very large amount of money. He had 15 no ability to repay. We can never repay all that we owe God. It is far more than what 15 men owe us. Once a child of God arrives at a proper evaluation of his debt to God, he 15 will generously forgive what his brother owes him. When we forget the immensity of 15 the grace we have received from God, we become merciless toward others. We need to 15 see how much we owe God before we can see how little others owe us.15

15 It is difficult for man to understand clearly what grace is and what the gospel is. Man 15 often thinks that he may not be able to repay today, but that he will be able to repay 15 someday. He may not make it today, but he will make it someday. In these verses, 15 however, we see a slave who, even if he were to sell all that he had, would not have 15 had enough to repay. He said, "Be patient with me and I will repay you all." His 15 intention was good. He was not trying to avoid his debt. He was only asking the Lord 15 for more time. He intended to repay all. Such a thought can only come from those who 15 have no knowledge of grace.15
