15 -마태복음 26장 12절- 이 여자가 내 몸에 이 향유를 부은 것은 내 장사를 위하여 함이니라 15

15 여러분은 주님이 베다니에 있는 마르다의 집에 앉으셨던 동안 그분의 마음 가운데 있었던 15 것을 압니까? 주님의 마음은 그분의 죽음에 고정되어 있었습니다. 그분은 자신이 죽기 위해 15 예루살렘으로 가고 있다는 것을 아셨습니다. 그분은 그분을 따르는 자들이 그들의 일이나 15 하는 것들을 내려놓고 그분과 함께 십자가에 못 박히기 위해 가기를 원하셨습니다.15

15 갈릴리로부터 예루살렘까지의 주님의 사역에 있어서 그 시작부분인 누가복음 9장 51절은 15 "예수께서 승천하실 때가 차가매 예루살렘을 향하여 올라가기로 굳게 결심하시고"라고 말합15 니다. "승천하실"이란 어구는 주님의 죽음을 가리킵니다. 여기서 우리는 주님이 죽으실 예루15 살렘으로 갈 때가 가까워 오고 있음을 봅니다. 그러므로, 이 때 후로 주님의 한 가지 생각은 15 죽으러 예루살렘으로 가시는 것이었습니다. 그분은 예루살렘으로 가시기로 굳게 결심하셨습15 니다. 그러므로 예루살렘으로 가시는 도중에 계셨을 때 그분의 마음에 있는 유일한 것은 그15 분의 죽음이었습니다.15

15 제자들은 주님과 함께 예루살렘으로 향하는 도중에 누가 더 큰 자인가를 따지고 다른 사람15 들이 주님을 위하여 일하는 것을 금하는 것과 같은 문제로 바빴습니다. 특히 형제들은 그들15 의 야심으로 분주했습니다. 반대로 자매들은 봉사하는 것, 섬기는 것으로 분주했습니다. 그15 러나 자매들 중에 바쁘지 않았던 한 사람, 마리아가 있었습니다. 그녀는 조용했고 사람-구15 주의 말씀을 들으며 잠잠히 앉아 있었습니다. 그 결과, 그녀는 주님의 마음에 있는 것을 알15 게 되었습니다.15

15 마리아는 그분이 죽으시러 예루살렘에 가고 계신다는 것을 알아차렸습니다. 그분의 죽음에 15 관하여 주님의 말씀을 듣고 받아들인 후에, 그녀는 그분이 죽으시기 전에 그분께 기름 부을 15 기회를 찾았습니다(마태복음 26장 12절). 그분의 죽음에 관한 주님의 말씀을 마음에 새기며 15 조용히 그분의 말씀을 들으며 앉아 있던 유일한 사람은 마리아였습니다. 그녀는 그분의 발 15 앞에 앉아 구주의 말씀, 그분의 갈망과 선호를 표현하신 말씀을 들었습니다.15

15 Listening to Know the Lord's Desire15

15 Matthew 26:7 A woman [Mary] came to Him, having an alabaster flask of ointment of 15 great value, and she poured it on His head as He reclined at table. (12) For in pouring 15 out this ointment on My body, she has done it for My burial.15

15 Do you know what was on the Lord's heart while He sat in Martha's home in 15 Bethany? The Lord's heart was set on His death. He knew that He was going to 15 Jerusalem to die. He wanted His followers to set aside their works, their doings, and go 15 with Him to be crucified.15

15 Luke 9:51, the beginning of the section in this Gospel on the Lord's ministry from 15 Galilee to Jerusalem, says "And it came about, when the days were being fulfilled for 15 His being taken up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem." The phrase 15 "being taken up" refers to the Lord's death. Here we see that the days were being 15 fulfilled for the Lord to go to Jerusalem that He might die there. Hence, from this time 15 onward, the Lord's one consideration was His going to Jerusalem to die. He steadfastly 15 set His face to go to Jerusalem. Therefore, the unique matter on His heart as He was 15 on the way to Jerusalem was His death.15

15 While the disciples were on the way to Jerusalem with the Lord, they were busy in 15 such matters as arguing who was greater and in forbidding others to do things for the 15 Lord. In particular, the brothers were busy with their ambition. The sisters, on the 15 contrary, were busy in serving, in ministering. But among the sisters there was one, 15 Mary, who was not busy. She was calm and sat in silence listening to the 15 Man-Savior's word. As a result, she came to know what was on the Lord's heart.15

15 Mary realized that He was going to Jerusalem to die. Having heard and received the 15 Lord's word concerning His death, she looked for the opportunity to anoint Him before 15 He died (Matt. 26:12). The only one who had a heart for the Lord's word concerning 15 His death and who sat quietly listening to His word was Mary. She sat at His feet and 15 listened to the Savior's word, a word that expressed His desire and preference.15
