15 주님께서 베다니에 오셨을 때 마르다는 그분을 영접하여 섬겼습니다. 그러나 마르다는 그녀 15 자신의 관념과 이해에 따라 구주를 섬겼습니다. 그녀는 주님께서 오랜 여행 뒤라 물질적인 15 것들로 섬김을 받고자 하신다고 생각했습니다. 그러므로 그녀는 사람-구주를 위해 많은 것15 들을 하느라 분주했습니다.15

15 주님께서 베다니에 있는 마르다의 집으로 오셨을 때, 그분의 바램이 물질적인 것들로 섬김15 을 받는 것이었다고 생각합니까? 확실히 음식으로 섬김을 받는 것은 그분의 바램이 아니었15 습니다. 반대로 그분의 바램은 그분의 구원받은 자들이 그분의 마음에 있는 것을 알기 위해 15 그분의 말씀을 듣는 것이었습니다. 주님은 먹는 것에 대해 관심하지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 15 그분을 사랑하는 자들이 잠잠히 그분과 함께 앉아 그분의 말씀을 듣고 그분이 말씀하시는 15 것에 집중하기를 원하셨습니다. 이렇게 그들은 그분의 갈망과 선호를 알게 될 것입니다.15

15 Not Busy Serving, but Silently Listening (1)15

15 -Luke 10:38- Now as they went, He entered into a certain village, and a certain 15 woman named Martha received Him into her home. (39) And she had a sister called 15 Mary, who also sat at the Lord's feet and was listening to His word. (40) But Martha 15 was being drawn about with much serving, and she came up to Him and said, Lord, 15 does it not matter to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to 15 do her part with me. (41) But the Lord answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you 15 are anxious and troubled about many things; (42) But there is need of one thing, for 15 Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.15

15 When the Lord came to Bethany, Martha received Him and served Him. However, 15 Martha served the Savior according to her own concept and understanding. She thought 15 that after making a long journey the Lord wanted to be served with material things. 15 Therefore, she was busy in doing many things for the Man-Savior.15

15 Do you think that when the Lord came into Martha's home in Bethany His desire was 15 to be served with material things? To be sure, it was not His desire to be served with 15 food. On the contrary, His desire was that His saved ones would listen to Him in order 15 to know what was on His heart. The Lord did not care about eating; He wanted those 15 who loved Him to be silent, to sit with Him, to listen to Him, and to concentrate on 15 His speaking. In this way they would know His desire and preference.15

15 In 10:39 Mary sat at the Lord's feet listening to His word. Later, she prepared ointment 15 to anoint Him before His death. How did Mary know to do this? I believe she came to 15 know this through listening to the Savior's speaking. By sitting at the Savior's feet and 15 listening to His word, she came to know His desire and preference. In 10:38-42 Martha 15 was very busy in many directions, and she was trying to make the Lord busy. She saw 15 the situation involving the Lord and her sister, Mary. Mary was not doing anything. 15 She was simply sitting at the Lord's feet and listening to His word, and the Lord 15 seemed to appreciate Mary's silence.15
