15 -누가복음 7장 2절-10절- 어떤 백부장의 사랑하는 종이 병들어 죽게 되었더니 예수의 소15 문을 듣고 유대인의 장로 몇을 보내어 오셔서 그 종을 구원 하시기를 청한지라 이에 저희가 15 예수께 나아와 간절히 구하여 가로되 이 일을 하시는 것이 이 사람에게는 합당하니이다 저15 가 우리 민족을 사랑하고 또한 우리를 위하여 회당을 지었나이다 하니 예수께서 함께 가실15 새 이에 그 집이 멀지 아니하여 백부장이 벗들을 보내어 가로되 주여 수고하시지 마옵소서 15 내 집에 들어오심을 나는 감당치 못하겠나이다 그러므로 내가 주께 나아가기도 감당치 못할 15 줄을 알았나이다 말씀만 하사 내 하인을 낫게 하소서 저도 남의 수하에 든 사람이요 제 아15 래에도 군병이 있으니 이더러 가라 하면 가고 저더러 오라 하면 오고 제 종더러 이것을 하15 라 하면 하나이다 예수께서 들으시고 저를 기이히 여겨 돌이키사 좇는 무리에게 이르시되 15 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이스라엘 중에서도 이만한 믿음은 만나지 못하였노라 하시더라 보15 내었던 사람들이 집으로 돌아가 보매 종이 이미 강건하여졌더라 15

15 (위의) 백부장은 마치 사람-구주에게 이렇게 말한 것 같습니다. "주님, 제가 당신께 나아가15 기도 감당치 못하거니와 당신께서 제 집에 오심도 감당치 못하겠나이다. 그러나 저는 권위15 가 무엇인지 압니다. 저도 다른 사람의 권위 아래 있고 또 다른 사람들도 제 권위 아래 있15 습니다. 제가 군병 중 한 사람에게 명하기만 하면 그는 제가 말한 것을 행합니다. 주여, 저15 는 당신이 이 우주 가운데 계신 권위임을 알고 있습니다."15

15 백부장은 또한 권위의 말씀의 의미도 알았습니다. 그러므로 그는 사람 구주께 "말씀만 하사 15 내 하인을 낫게 하소서"라고 말할 수 있었던 것입니다. 그는 권위와 권위의 표현인 말씀을 15 알았습니다. 백부장의 종은 사실 사람-구주의 말씀으로 치료되었습니다. 이방인 백부장은 15 사람-구주의 권세를 알아보았고 그분의 말씀이 치료하는 권세를 가진 말씀이심을 알고 있15 었습니다. 그래서 그는 사람-구주를 믿었을 뿐 아니라 그분의 말씀을 믿었습니다. 그는 주15 님께 친히 오실 것을 청하지 않고 단지 말씀만 하실 것을 청했습니다. 사람-구주께서는 이 15 큰 믿음에 놀라셨습니다.15

15 이 사례에서 또한 우리는 신성한 속성들을 지닌 주님의 인간적인 미덕들을 봅니다. 그분의 15 미덕은 그분이 백부장의 집으로 가신 사실에서 표현되었습니다. 주 예수님은 온 우주의 주15 이십니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그분은 기꺼이 로마 군대의 한 장교를 보러 가셨습니다. 사람15 -구주의 인간적인 미덕 안에서 권위라는 신성한 속성이 표현되었습니다. 그분이 말씀하셨15 고, 백부장의 종은 치료되었습니다.15

15 기 도 : 주 예수여! 당신의 말씀은 권위의 말씀이십니다. 당신의 권위와 권위의 말씀을 더 15 알기 원합니다. 나에게 당신의 말씀이 있으므로 눈에 보이는 임재는 내게 필요치 않습니다. 15 당신의 생명 주는 말씀으로 나를 더 강건케 하소서. 아멘.15

15 The Word of Authority15

15 Luke 7:2 And a certain centurion's slave, who was highly valued by him, was ill and 15 about to die. (3) And when he heard about Jesus, he sent to Him some elders of the 15 Jews, requesting that He would come and completely heal his slave. (4) And when they 15 came to Jesus, they entreated Him earnestly, saying, He is worthy of Your granting this 15 to him, (6) And Jesus went with them. But already, when He was not far from the 15 house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am 15 not fit for You to enter under my roof; (7) Therefore, I did not count even myself 15 worthy to come to You. But speak a word, and let my servant be healed. (8) For I also 15 am a man set under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, Go, and 15 he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it. 15 (9) And when Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turning to the crowd 15 following Him, He said, I say to you, Not even in Israel have I found such great faith. 15 (10) And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in 15 good health.15

15 The centurion [above] seemed to be saying to the Man-Savior, "Lord, I am not worthy 15 to come to see You or for You to come to my house. Yet I know what authority is. I 15 am under the authority of others, and others are under my authority. All I need to do is 15 speak a word to one of the soldiers, and he does what I say. I know, Lord, that You 15 are the authority in this universe."15

15 The centurion also knew the significance of a word of authority. This was the reason 15 he could say to the Man- Savior, "Say a word, and let my servant be cured" (v. 7). He 15 knew authority and the word as the expression of authority. The centurion's slave was 15 in fact healed by the word of the Man-Savior. The Gentile centurion recognized the 15 authority of the Man-Savior and realized that His word was a word with healing 15 authority. Thus, he believed not only in the Man- Savior, but also in His word. He 15 asked the Lord not to come personally, but only to send His word. The Man-Savior 15 marveled at this great faith.15

15 In this case also we see the Lord's human virtues with His divine attributes. His virtue 15 was expressed in the fact of His going to the home of the centurion. The Lord Jesus is 15 the Lord of the entire universe. Nevertheless, He was willing to go to see an officer in 15 the Roman army. In the Man-Savior's human virtue, His divine attribute of authority 15 was expressed. He spoke a word, and the centurion's slave was healed.15
