15 -누가복음 1장 48-50절- 그 계집종의 비천함을 돌아 보셨음이라 보라 이제 후로는 만세에 나를 복이 있다 일컬으리로다 능하신 이가 큰 일을 내게 행하셨으니 그 이름이 거룩하시며 15 긍휼하심이 두려워하는 자에게 대대로 이르는도다 15

15 마리아와 사가랴는 둘 다 그들의 비천함을 인식하고(48절) 그들이 하나님께 은혜받을 만한 가치가 없음을 겸손하게 인식하였기 때문에(52절), 하나님의 긍휼을 강조합니다. 하나님의 긍휼과 은혜는 모두 그분의 사랑의 표현입니다. 우리가 불쌍한 처지에 있을 때, 먼저 그분의 긍휼이 우리에게 이르러, 하나님께서 그분의 은혜를 우리에게 베풀 수 있는 상태로 우리를 이끄십니다. 하나님의 은혜를 받으려면 우리가 합당한 상태에 있어야 합니다. 그러나 마리아는 그녀와 그 시대의 모든 사람들이 형편없는 시대에 있었음을 알았습니다. 그들이 불쌍한 처지에 있었으므로 그들에게는 하나님의 긍휼이 필요했습니다.15

15 마리아는 그분의 긍휼과 능력있는 행하심들로 인하여 하나님을 찬양했습니다. 51절과 52절에서 그녀는 "그의 팔로 힘을 보이사 마음의 생각이 교만한 자들을 흩으셨고 권세 있는 자를 그 위에서 내리치셨으며 비천한 자를 높이셨고"라고 말합니다. 하나님은 그 비천한 가운데 빠진 그분의 백성들을 돌보시며 능한 일을 행하셨습니다. 그들의 처지가 매우 비천하였기에 그들은 그들에게 미칠 하나님의 긍휼이 필요했습니다. 왜냐하면 그분의 긍휼은 그분의 은혜보다 더 멀리까지 미치기 때문입니다.15

15 기 도 : 하나님 아버지! 당신의 긍휼과 나에게 오시기 위해 당신이 성취하신 모든 일을 인하여 당신을 찬양합니다. 아버지여, 교만하지 않고 겸손하여 항상 당신의 긍휼을 입는 자가 되기 원합니다. 아멘.15

15 Mary's Praise (1)15

15 -Luke 1:48- Because He has looked upon the low estate of His slave. For behold, from now on all generations will count me blessed, (49) Because the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His name. (50) And His mercy is unto generations and generations, unto those who fear Him. 15

15 Both Mary and Zachariah stress God's mercy, realizing their low estate (v. 48) and humbly (v. 52) recognizing that they are not worthy of being favored by God. Both God's mercy and His grace are the expression of His love. When we are in a pitiful condition, His mercy first reaches us and brings us into a situation where God is able to favor us with His grace. God's mercy reaches further and bridges the gap between us and God's grace. In order to receive God's grace, we need to be in a suitable condition. However, Mary realized that she and all the people at that time were in a poor condition. Because they were in a pitiful condition, they needed God's mercy.15

15 Mary praised God for His mercy and His mighty doings. In verses 51 and 52 she says, "He has done mighty things with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the 15 understanding of their heart. He brought down potentates from thrones and exalted the humble." God did mighty things in taking care of His people in their low estate. Because their estate was so low, they needed God's mercy to reach them, for His mercy extends further than His grace.15
