15 -데살로니가 후서 2장 13절- 주의 사랑하시는 형제들아 우리가 항상 너희를 위하여 마땅15 히 하나님께 감사할 것은 하나님이 처음부터 너희를 택하사 성령의 거룩하게 하심과 진리를 15 믿음으로 구원을 얻게 하심이니15

15 "거룩함에 흠이 없게"라는 말씀을 여러분은 어떻게 이해하십니까? "거룩함에"라는 말은 "견15 고케 하다(굳게 하다)"라는 동사를 한정하지 않습니다. 오히려 그 말은 "흠이 없이"라는 말15 을 한정합니다. 이 구절에서 바울은 주께서 우리의 마음을 거룩함으로 견고케 하신다고 말15 하지 않습니다. 대신에 그는 주께서 우리의 마음을 흠이 없게, 즉 거룩함에 흠이 없게 만드15 신다고 말합니다. 그러므로 우리는 우리의 마음이 거룩함에 흠이 없게 되는 것이 무엇을 의15 미하는지를 탐구해 볼 필요가 있습니다.15

15 데살로니가 후서 2장 13절은 거룩케 하심 안에 있는 구원을 말하며, 데살로니가 전서 3장 15 13절은 거룩함에 흠이 없음을 말합니다. 거룩함 안에 있는 것과 거룩케 하심 안에 있는 것15 과는 다릅니다. 물론 거룩함과 거룩케 하심, 둘 다 한 본질, 즉 거룩을 가리킵니다. 그러나 15 거룩함을 본질 자체를 가리키는 반면 성화는 거룩하게 되는 과정, 즉 성화되는 과정을 가리15 킵니다. 계속되는 과정에서 우리는 거룩하게 됩니다. 이 과정이 거룩케 하심입니다. 그러므15 로 거룩함 안에 있는 것은 본질 안에 있는 것이며 거룩케 하심 안에 있는 것은 거룩하게 되15 어지는 과정 안에 있는 것입니다.15

15 하나님의 구원은 거룩케 하심 안에 있습니다. 이것은 하나님의 구원이 우리가 거룩케 되는 15 계속적인 과정과 관계 있음을 의미합니다. 이 과정이 발생할 때 우리는 하나님의 구원하는 15 능력을 누립니다. 거룩함은 하나님의 거룩한 본성의 요소입니다. 우리가 흠이 없게 되는 것15 은 이 요소 안에서입니다.15

15 기 도 : 주 예수여! 당신의 거룩한 본성의 요소들 안에서 나를 더 구원하소서. 당신이 이런 15 놀라운 과정 가운데 나를 두셨음을 감사합니다. 당신은 이제 나를 흠이 없게 하십니다. 15 __________안에서도 이런 역사를 하시기를 기도합니다. 아멘.15

15 Holiness and Sanctification (1)15

15 -1 Thes. 3:13- So that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God 15 and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.
15 -2 Thes. 2:13- But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers beloved of 15 the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of 15 the Spirit and belief of the truth,15

15 What is your understanding of the phrase "blameless in holiness"? The words "in 15 holiness" do not qualify the verb "establish." Rather, they qualify the word "blameless." 15 In this verse Paul is not saying that the Lord establishes our heart in holiness. Instead, 15 he is saying that the Lord is making our heart blameless, and making it blameless in 15 holiness. Thus, we need to find out what it means for our heart to be blameless in 15 holiness.15

15 Second Thessalonians 2:13 speaks of salvation in sanctification, and 1 Thessalonians 15 3:13, of being blameless in holiness. To be in holiness is different from being in 15 sanctification. Of course, holiness and sanctification both refer to an element that is 15 holy. However, holiness refers to the element itself, and sanctification refers to the 15 process of being made holy, the process of being sanctified. A process is going on to 15 make us holy; this process is sanctification. Therefore, to be in holiness is to be in the 15 element, and to be in sanctification is to be in the process of being made holy.15

15 God's salvation is in sanctification. This means that God's salvation involves a 15 continuing process through which we are being made holy. As this process is taking 15 place, we enjoy God's saving power. Holiness is the element of God's holy nature. It is 15 in this element that we are to be blameless.15
