15 -데살로니가 전서 5장 8절- 우리는 낮에 속하였으니 근신하여 믿음과 사랑의 흉배를 붙이15 고 구원의 소망의 투구를 쓰자15

15 깨어 근신하는 것은 교회 생활을 위한 거룩한 생활의 세 가지 기본 구조, 즉 믿음과 사랑과 15 소망을 보호하는 것과 관계됩니다. 8절은 이것을 가리킵니다. 흉배와 투구라는 말은 모두 영15 적 전쟁을 가리킵니다. 흉배는 믿음과 사랑에 속한 것으로 하나님의 의로우심에 따라 우리15 의 마음과 영을 덮고 보호합니다(에베소서 6장 14절). 투구는 구원의 소망으로(에베소서 6kd 15 17절) 우리의 지성 곧 생각을 덮고 보호합니다. 믿음과 사랑과 소망은 데살로니가 전서 1장 15 3절에 묘사된 것처럼 참된 그리스도인 생활의 세 가지 기본 구조입니다. 믿음은 우리의 자15 유의지-우리 마음의 일부(로마서 10장 9절)-와 양심-우리 영의 일부(디모데 전서 1장 1915 절)-과 관계됩니다. 사랑은 우리 마음의 다른 부분인 우리의 감정과 관계되며(마태복음 2215 장 37절), 소망은 우리의 이해-우리의 생각의 기능-와 관계됩니다.15

15 참된 그리스도인의 생활이 유지되기 위해서는 이 모든 것들이 보호될 필요가 있습니다. 그15 와 같은 생활이 깨어 근신하는 것입니다. 이 서신의 서두에서 사도는 믿는 이들의 믿음의 15 역사와 사랑의 수고와 소망의 인내를 칭찬했습니다(1장 3절). 이제 이 서신의 결론에서 그는 15 그것을 위해 싸움으로 이러한 영적인 미덕들을 지키라고 그들에게 권고합니다.15

15 The Safeguard of Faith, Love, and Hope 15

15 -1 Thes 5:5- For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night 15 nor of darkness. (6) So then let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be 15 sober. (8) But since we are of the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of 15 faith and love and a helmet, the hope of salvation.15

15 To be watchful and to be sober are related to safeguarding the three basic structures of 15 the holy life for the church life: faith, love, and hope. Verse 8 indicates this...The words 15 breastplate and helmet both indicate spiritual warfare. The breastplate is of faith and 15 love, covering and protecting our heart and spirit according to God's righteousness (Eph. 15 6:14). The helmet is the hope of salvation (Eph. 6:17), covering and protecting our 15 mentality, the mind. Faith, love, and hope are the three basic structures of the genuine 15 Christian life as depicted in 1 Thessalonians 1:3. Faith is related to our will--a part of 15 our heart (Rom. 10:9)--and to our conscience--a part of our spirit (1 Tim. 1:19). Love 15 is related to our emotion, another part of our heart (Matt. 22:37); and hope is related to 15 our understanding--a function of our mind. 15

15 All of these need to be protected that a genuine Christian life may be maintained. Such 15 a life is watchful and sober. At the beginning of this Epistle, the apostle praised the 15 believers' work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope (1:3). Here, at the 15 conclusion of the Epistle, he exhorts them to keep these spiritual virtues covered and 15 protected by fighting for them.15
