고전1:18 왜냐하면 십자가의 말씀이 멸망하는 사람들에게는 어리석은 것이지만, 구원을 받는 우리에게는 하나님의 능력이기 때문입니다. 

골2:14~15 우리를 대적하고 우리를 반대하는, 규례들이 적혀 있는 증서를 하나님께서 지워 버리셨고, 그것을 십자가에 못박으시어 우리 가운데서 없애 버리셨습니다. 하나님께서 통치자들과 권세자들을 벗기시어 공개적으로 드러내시고, 십자가로 그들을 이기셨습니다.

오늘의 만나

참된 의미에서 그리스도의 십자가는 우주의 중심입니다. 하나님께서 하늘과 땅과 우주 안에 있는 수억 가지 항목들을 창조하신 후에, 천사장이 배역했고 많은 천사들이 그를 따랐습니다. 이 천사장은 사탄이 되었고 그의 추종자들은 공중의 악한 통치와 능력과 권세가 되었습니다. 결국에는 하나님이 창조하신 사람도 타락하여 죄있는 사람이 되었습니다. 천사들의 배역과 사람의 타락은 하나님을 어려운 상황에 처하게 했습니다. 하나님께서 이 어려움을 처리하시는 방법이 십자가입니다. 처음에 하나님은 사람이 되심으로 자신 위에 인성을 입으셨습니다. 그리고 나서 하나님이 육신되신 그리스도는 십자가로 가셔서 못박히셨습니다. 삼십 삼년 반 동안의 땅 위에서의 생활을 하시는 동안, 그리스도는 구유로부터 십자가까지 걸어가셨습니다. 그분이 십자가에 못박히셨을 때, 많은 일들이 일어났습니다. 하나님은 십자가 위에서 죄와 죄있는 옛사람을 심판하셨습니다. 십자가를 통해서 우리의 죄의 본성은 끝났습니다. 하나님께서는 죄와 죄있는 사람을 심판하시던 바로 그 때에 또한 율법을 십자가에 못박으셨습니다. 하나님께서 율법을 십자가에 못박고 계셨을 때, 악한 천사들도 함께 있으면서 매우 활발히 움직였습니다. 그러나 15절에 따르면 하나님은 십자가를 통하여 그들을 벗기어 버리셨습니다. 통치와 권세들을 벗기어 버리심으로 하나님은 그들을 공개적으로 드러내셨습니다. 그분은 그들을 공개적으로 부끄럼 당하게 하셨고 그들 위에 승리하셨습니다. 이는 얼마나 위대한 일인지요!

Bible Verses

In a very real sense, the cross of Christ is the center of the universe. After God created the heavens, the earth, and the billions of items in the universe, an archangel rebelled, and many angels followed him. This archangel became Satan, and his followers became the evil rulers, powers, and authorities in the heavenlies. Eventually, the man created by God fell and became sinful. The rebellion of the angels and the fall of man put God into a difficult situation. God's way to deal with this difficulty is the cross. Firstly, God became a man, thereby putting humanity on Himself. Then Christ, God incarnate, went to the cross and was crucified. During the thirty-three and a half years of His earthly life, Christ walked from the manger to the cross. When He was crucified, many things took place. On the cross God judged sin and the sinful old man. Through the cross, our sinful nature was terminated. At the very time God was judging sin and sinful man, He also nailed the law to the cross. When God was nailing the law to the cross, the evil angels also were present and very active. But, according to verse 15, God stripped them off through the cross. By stripping off the rulers and authorities, God made a display of them openly. He openly put them to shame and triumphed over them. What a great matter this is!
